It’s good to be Dak Prescott.
And it’s also good to be his teammate.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback recently offered each of his teammates all new Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Cool Gray’ shoes.
The shoes, which won’t officially come out until Saturday, will be retail for about $ 225, according to Nike.com.
That’s over $ 12,000 in total for over 50 pairs of Nikes.
Each pair of sneakers came with a note from Prescott, which read, âThank you for you this holiday season. “
Prescott signed a massive sponsorship agreement with the sneaker giant in June.
âYeah, guys all love Jordans,â Prescott said after Thursday practice. âObviously you see them when we show up to games and get on the plane. [There are] a lot of sneakerheads in the team. Knew the Cool Gray 11s were something guys would want or enjoy if they got their hands on them [them]. I was lucky that Jumpman and the Jordan brand allowed me to do this. Just a Christmas present in advance.
The Cowboys (8-4) face the Washington Soccer Team (6-6) at noon Sunday at FedEx Field.
Cowboys linebacker Jabril Cox posted a video of himself opening the giveaway on social media.
âBlessed be 4Dak,â Cox said in the video.
