The Nike ACG Air Mada may be unknown to those who didn’t grow up in the ’80s and ’90s or make shoe history, but it’s prided itself on being loyal since its debut in 1994. Recently, the shoe appeared in a new beige color accompanied by clay green and mauve accents.
The healthy mix of materials in the upper harks back to another era in the Swoosh’s outdoor endeavors. Synthetic leather and durable canvas split the aforementioned tones, with the base layers opting for a shade of green that appears bluish at specific angles. Detailing on and along the tongue pulls apart in a spring-ready purple, as do Nike ACG logos to the lateral heel, “NIKE AIR” branding to the spine and its nearby pull tabs. Likely in an effort to combat wear and tear and the elements, the Mada features an all-‘black’ outsole, which provides aggressive and responsive traction suitable for all conditions.
No firm release details have been leaked, but the shoes are expected to arrive at Nike SNKRS before the summer begins. Either way, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
